Cancellation Policy

Reel Media Photography — Booking & Session Policies These are the policies that keep things smooth on both sides. Read through before booking. If anything is unclear, just ask. Booking & Deposit A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to lock in your session date. The remaining balance is due on or before the day of the shoot. Sessions are not confirmed until the deposit is received. Without a deposit, your date is open for other bookings. Deposits are non-refundable but transferable — if you need to reschedule (with at least 48 hours notice), your deposit moves to the new date with no penalty. Rescheduling & Cancellations Reschedules with 48+ hours notice: No charge. Deposit transfers to the new date. Reschedules with less than 48 hours notice: Deposit is forfeited. A new deposit is required to rebook. Cancellations: Deposits are non-refundable. If you cancel entirely, the deposit is kept as compensation for the time the date was held. No-shows: Treated as a cancellation. Full deposit forfeited and no refund issued. Weather Policy Outdoor sessions are weather-dependent. If conditions look unsafe or unworkable (heavy rain, severe wind, extreme heat, lightning), I'll reach out to reschedule before the session — usually the morning of, sometimes the day before. Reschedules due to weather are always free. Your deposit transfers to the new date with no penalty. If we're already shooting and weather turns mid-session, I'll make the call on whether to push through or reschedule the remaining time. You won't be charged twice. Late Arrivals Session time starts at the scheduled start time, not when you arrive. If you're running late, please text as soon as you know. Up to 15 minutes late: No issue, we shoot the remaining time. More than 15 minutes late: Session may need to be cut short to keep my schedule on track. The full session fee still applies. More than 30 minutes late without contact: Treated as a no-show. What You Get Every session includes: The agreed session time (mini, standard, or extended) A professionally edited gallery delivered via Pixieset Full personal-use rights to all delivered images Color correction, exposure adjustment, and standard retouching on every delivered image Delivery Timeline Mini sessions: 7–10 business days Standard sessions: 10–14 business days Extended sessions: 14–21 business days Sneak peeks (2–3 images) are typically delivered within 48 hours of the session.
